Korbel Brut and Brut Rosé Review

It’s Bubbly Time Take 2 and Take 3 on BoozeDancing TV! Take 1 was our review of Korbel Prosecco which is made and imported from Italy. Now we’re trying two different versions of their Brut California Champagne: the standard Brut and the Brut Rosé.

Here are a few words about each taken directly from their website:

Korbel Brut: America’s favorite California champagne, KORBEL Brut is refined, with a balanced, medium-dry finish. Enjoy lively aromas of citrus and cinnamon leading to crisp flavors of orange, lime, vanilla and a hint of strawberry. Enjoy with caviar, fried foods, salty snacks, and shellfish.

Korbel Brut Rosé: Delicate and crisp, featuring bright flavors of strawberry, cherry and melon. Its medium-dry, slightly sweet style makes it one of the most versatile, food-friendly varietals. Enjoy with grilled shrimp, pizza, smoked meats, beets, and blue cheese.

This all sounded great to us! Sadly, we didn’t have any of those yummy snacks on hand for a “best pairing” discussion. Such is life! At least we had plenty to drink. To find out what we thought of these Korbel Brut expressions, click play on the following video:
